EIC Engineers
EIC Engineers is an electrical engineering firm that was started in 1998 by Eric Cowling, PE to serve architects, contractors, and owners for all types of electrical engineering needs throughout the state of Alaska. We have a vast array of over 3000 completed projects providing engineering in all of the various contract arrangements such as conventional design/bid, design/build, and various configurations design assist.
EIC's advantage over other engineering firms, comes from the unique experience Eric gained while working his early years as a journeyman electrician prior to attaining a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. This experience provides invaluable insight to design the most cost effective solutions possible and achieve the needs of the building users.
EIC also has a passion for architecture and understands the importance of selecting the appropriate light fixtures, device layouts, finishes, and wiring methods which compliment the building's form and function. In recent years building energy efficiency has also become a paramount design aspect to our industry which EIC Engineers has design expertise to meet the requirements of all applicable energy codes and LEED Certification requirements. We also assist to identify design implications that are buried in the International Building Code and International Fire Code.
EIC is based in Anchorage Alaska and includes 7 highly competent employees that are trained and organized to provide the highest quality, cost effective engineering on schedule.
