AIA Anchorage Rental Car Center, Anchorage, Alaska:
Multi-level 500,000 square foot airport rental car facility with rental car tenant offices, customer service counters, indoor car washes, covered and roof parking, on-site fuel station, and pedestrian, climate-controlled tunnel to connect to main Anchorage International Airport facilities. Electrical design included site lighting, interior lighting, emergency lighting, and telecommunications systems. Facility design includes a CCTV system integrated into the Anchorage International Airport’s central station to allow control and monitoring from a single location. The fire alarm system monitors the building’s sprinkler system and is integrated into the AIA main system for single point of control and monitoring. A code blue emergency phone system is integrated throughout the facility and is monitored by the central station at the Anchorage International Airport.
